Motor Grader 

The Road and Bridge division of Public Works is responsible for maintaining and improving Flagler County's transportation infrastructure system — 132 miles of unpaved roads, 100 miles of paved roads, 45 miles of canals and drainage ditches, 34 bridge structures and 15 miles of concrete sidewalk. That includes:

  • Grading and repairing dirt roads
  • Mowing rights-of-way
  • Asphalt and pothole repairs
  • Replacing culverts
  • Bridge repairs
  • Cleaning canals and ditches
  • Guardrail repairs
  • Litter and animal remains removal
  • Shoulder repairs
  • Cleaning and replacing signs
  • Striping roadways

Road and Bridge responds to emergencies, such as: wildfire suppression/plowing fire lines, hurricane clean-up, supply distribution, controlled burns and roadway stabilization.
