US Army Corps of Engineers Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) Project

Projected End Date: October 1, 2024
Project Area: The Project will extend from the northern end of Gamble Rodgers State Recreation Area to 7th Street North. The planned construction time is 3 months and will be built from south to north along the coast.

Completed Dune Restoration Projects - 2023
- January 23 - March 1st: FEMA (Category G) Dune Restoration project in response to Hurricane Dorian - Completed.
- March 1 - March 23: Washington Oak Gardens State Park Dune Restoration Project - Completed.
- March 27 - May 28: Painter's Hill and Beverly Beach FDEP funded Dune Restoration Project - Completed.
- June 1 - June 30: S. Hammock Dune Restoration Project -Completed.
- FEMA Category B Emergency Dune Restoration Project:
Phase 1: July 5 - September 21: Dune restoration from the Hammock Beach Resort through the northern section of Hammock Dunes community (to tie into the previously completed S. Hammock Dune project). -Completed
Phase 2: September 18 - December 1: Dune restoration will be from River to the Sea Preserve boardwalk to the northern boundary of Washington Oak Gardens State Park. -Completed
