What We Do
We work daily with partners from: County, municipal (Marineland, Beverly Beach, Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, Bunnell), local districts (School, Mosquito Control, CDD’s, etc), Constitutional Offices (Sheriff, Clerk of the Court, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections), Private Non-Profit (AdventHealth, Flagler Volunteer Services, etc), Utility (FPL, Water & Wastewater, etc), State agencies and Federal agencies; plus many more.
We work with these partners to develop relationships, plans, procedures, trainings, and exercises to ensure that when our community needs us most, we can all work together to return our community to normal.
We are responsible for the maintenance and operations of the countywide Emergency Operations Center that is a facility in which key partners work collaboratively to prioritize and manage the entire suite of critical services that may need to be provide in preparation for, response to, and recovery from a large scale emergency or disaster.
We also provide community outreach and training year-round, to include our Community Emergency Response Team program.
