East Meets West - Haunted Ghost Stories and Folklore of Florida

 Come visit the library on September 30th at 2:00 PM and get into the Halloween spirit with Christopher Balzano and Gemma Rose as they present East Meets West - Haunted Ghost Stories and Folklore of Florida. This is a one hour program free to the public. 

Christopher Balzano is a writer, researcher, folklorist, and current host of the podcast Tripping on Legends. He has been documenting the unexplained since 1994 and has been a figure in the paranormal world through his book, articles, and his work as the director of Massachusetts Paranormal Crossroads and now Tripping on Legends. Balzano, will be sharing ghost stories and folklore featuring Florida's west cost. 

Gemma Rose is a writer, researcher, librarian, and former ghost host of St. Augustine's Ghost and Gravestones. Rose has been exploring haunted places and collecting folklore since 2004. She wrote her undergrad research paper on "Non- Verbal Communication with the Dead" and received an award from Palm Beach State College. She is currently working on a historical fiction book centered on the folklore and history of St. Augustine. During the program she will share stories of Florida haunts on the east coast. 

 It is going to be a spooktacular event.
