The Flagler County Library will present on July 8th at 1 PM at the Main Library an program to highlight the brilliance and diversity of short stories by hosting an experimental program by the Florida Storytelling Troupe reading two very different and engaging short stories. Marjorie Kinnan Rawling’s "Benny and the Bird Dogs" will be read by Margaret Kaler, actress, director and storyteller. Ken Liu’s "The Paper Menagerie" will be read by Kathy Duffy, local Palm Coast storyteller. The program is akin to Reader’s Theater and is a different way to experience great literature.
